Feasts we keep

  • Denho (Epiphany / Pindiperunnal): January 6, the Baptism of the Lord, with the blessing of water.
  • Great Lent & Passion Week: the fifty-day fast, Hosanna Sunday, Pesaha, Good Friday's Sleeba veneration, and Easter (Qyomto).
  • Dukhrono of St. Thomas: July 3, the feast of the Apostle of India.
  • Assumption of Our Lady: August 15, our parish feast.
  • Ettu Nombu & Nativity of Our Lady: September 1–8.
  • Feast of Mar Ivanios: July 15, Servant of God who led the Reunion.
  • Yeldho (Christmas): December 25, with carol rounds through the family units in Advent.
