മേരി മാതാ മലങ്കര സുറിയാനി കത്തോലിക്കാ പള്ളി, സൂറത്ത്
We are a Malayali Catholic community in Gujarat worshipping in the West Syriac tradition of the Apostle St. Thomas, gathered each week around the Holy Qurbono, under the patronage of Mary, our Mother.
Holy Qurbono & Prayers
Timings are indicative. Confirm this week's schedule with the parish office.
Surat draws families from every corner of Kerala. Our parish keeps the faith, language, and liturgy of home alive, and opens it warmly to anyone who walks in.
Our Eucharistic liturgy follows the ancient Anaphora of St. James, sung in Malayalam with Syriac roots: unhurried, incense-filled, and deeply participatory.

Our patronal feast: solemn Holy Qurbono, procession, and parish fellowship meal. Independence Day flag hoisting follows the liturgy.
Eight days of fasting and evening prayers leading to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on September 8.
Announcements, ministry updates, and chai together after Qurbono on the first Sunday of every month.
The Holy Qurbono begins at 9:00 AM every Sunday. Come a little early; the preparatory service of the Thuyobo begins before the public liturgy, and the church fills quickly on feast days.
If you are new to Surat and looking for a Malankara Catholic parish, call the parish office or simply come. Someone at the door will help you find your way.
